Your guide however is a bit confusing on "method 3" the pictures I cant really tell whats going on with the elastic and if you sewed the edge and then wrapped it around and did another pass to close it because you don't show that in your pictures. At the top of a bikini, I then sandwich it between the main fabric and the lining.
